ATM 2026 Global Travel and Tourism Conference

Arabian Travel Market has revealed the full itinerary for its 2026 event, which will lead the travel and tourism industry to environmentally friendly growth and new technology with the help of innovative practices. The location will be the Dubai World Trade Centre, and the event will take place from May 4 to 7, 2026. The conference will be branded “Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology,” and it will be a major source of in-depth information for global travel industry leaders, government officials, and the business community.

The ATM 2026 conference will be separated into three principal phases, each having a different theme. The Global Stage will cover the main issues that impact the traveling across borders, amongst them accessibility and sustainability through to marketing and investment.
The objective is to provide research-based knowledge and strategic analysis that will help the audience to understand the forces that will determine the industry’s near and distant future. The concerned sessions, which include debates, dialogues, and the sharing of statistics, will reveal the point where policy, technology, and trends in society overlap with travel and tourism.

The Future Stage will be entirely focused on technology and innovation in the travel sector. This part will be inside the Tech and Innovation Hub and it will be shedding light on the new ideas that are changing the whole process of travel organization, booking, and experience. Topics to be discussed will include AI, automation, digital transformation, fintech, immersive technologies, and next-gen platforms. The vision is to equip the industry professionals with the knowledge of incoming disruptors and new instruments to be utilized in their business models.

The Experience Stage, a newly renamed stage that was previously the Business Events Stage at IBTM @ ATM, will be primarily concerned with the aforementioned areas as well as with the general growth of the business travel sector. The International Congress and Convention Association is lending its support to the stage in its quest for the exploration of factors like leadership, event technology and creative ideas for the corporate and experiential travel markets.

ATM 2026 is also set to provide learning formats that are more participatory and close-knit. The agenda includes roundtable discussions, “Lunch ‘n Learn” sessions, and meet-the-speaker opportunities. A partnership with Vox Technologies will bring in headset devices for translations which allow for real-time interpretation thus leading to more intense dialogues and better transfer of knowledge.
One of the major attractions of the whole program will be the Women in Travel Forum which will be organized on the last day of the Global Stage. The forum will address equity, inclusion and leadership in the context of the tourism sector. It will not only help destinations and companies in creating inclusive experiences, but also in removing the barriers for under-represented groups and facilitating the promotion of diverse leadership across the industry.

Apart from the conference stages, 2026 will witness the ongoing development of ATM Travel Tech, a simultaneous event that is focused on the impact of technology on travel. The Tech and Innovation Hub will accommodate more than 180 exhibitors coming from around 30 countries. These exhibitors will unveil the instruments and platforms that are setting the trend in AI-assisted trip planning, smart mobility, and digital customer interactions.

In addition to its knowledge programme, ATM will offer specialised networking spaces like the ATM Ultra Luxury Lounge, where high-net-worth travel suppliers and buyers can connect around premium hospitality and bespoke travel offerings.

This expanded conference programme reflects how travel industry leaders are thinking ahead to 2040. By centring research, innovation, inclusion, and real-world debate, ATM 2026 positions itself as a central forum where insights turn into strategy and action. Decision-makers will leave with frameworks and tools to respond to evolving traveler expectations, economic shifts, and technological advances shaping the global travel landscape.
