Arab-India Forum Seen as Strategic Bridge for Cooperation Between Regions

Arab-India Forum Seen as Strategic Bridge

Kuwait’s Ambassador to India, Mustafa Al-Shemali, described the Arab-Indian Cooperation Forum as a vital platform for building stronger ties between Arab countries and India. The ministerial meeting of the forum took place in New Delhi to establish deeper partnerships between different sectors which included security and energy and trade and technology. Al-Shemali emphasized that historical ties and cultural connections and civilizational heritage form the basis for developing closer relationships between nations.

The forum will host Arab foreign ministers who will be joined by Indian officials and experts from diplomatic departments that specialize in Arab and Asian matters. The event includes plans to inaugurate the Arab-Indian Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture headquarters in New Delhi. The event will feature Indian and Arab officials who will attend along with business leaders and ambassadors which demonstrates high-level involvement.

The information technology field and scientific research and artificial intelligence technology and environmental protection work of India present advantages for regional partnerships according to Al-Shemali. The two parties have common global challenges which they can use to establish mutual trust through their strategic alliance.

The forum was established in 2016 to enhance relations between India and League of Arab States members. The upcoming sessions demonstrate our dedication to developing business relationships and working together in essential industrial sectors. The current effort shows how people use shared interests and past connections to find solutions for today’s issues.
