Driverless cars, AI-powered robots and tomorrows technologies take centre stage at GITEX AI EUROPE

Visitors step into Europe’s AI future as breakthrough technologies transform mobility, manufacturing, energy, cybersecurity and digital trust

Berlin, Germany – 30 June 2026: The thousands of visitors arriving at GITEX AI EUROPE 2026 today stepped into the future of the transformational world of AI, experiencing driverless cars navigate public roads, witnessing robots crawl inside wind turbines searching for hidden defects, or seeing real-time how AI software fixes cyber vulnerabilities well before IT teams can intervene.

Organised by inD, GITEX AI EUROPE features more than 800 exhibitors, 600 investors managing over US$1 trillion in assets, and 280 global speakers, making it one of the continent’s largest gatherings dedicated to artificial intelligence and advanced technologies. The event is bringing together policymakers, investors, technology leaders and innovators from more than 80 countries.

Beyond the conference stages discussing regulation, infrastructure and investment, the exhibition floor reveals how AI is already reshaping industries through practical, commercially deployed applications.

The future arrives on four wheels

Perhaps nowhere is that transformation more visible than outside the exhibition halls, where Berlin-based Bliq is giving visitors live rides in one of Europe’s first fully driverless vehicles approved to operate on public roads within an EU member state.

Rather than watching autonomous mobility through videos or simulations, attendees can experience it for themselves. The vehicle pulls up, opens its doors and drives passengers without a driver behind the wheel, offering a glimpse of how autonomous transport could soon become part of everyday life across Europe.

Inside the exhibition, industrial AI is in the spotlight

Türkiye’s GÜRİŞ Technology is showcasing a new generation of AI-powered robotics that inspects renewable energy infrastructure. Combining drones, autonomous robots and advanced computer vision, its technologies detect defects in wind turbine blades and critical industrial equipment, improving reliability while significantly reducing inspection times.

“As an AI and robotics company transforming renewable energy operations, we believe the future of industry lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, robotics and sustainability,” said İbrahim Kaya, AI Manager, GÜRİŞ Technology. “Our mission is to transform how critical energy infrastructure is inspected, monitored and maintained by combining advanced AI with real-world engineering expertise.”

Nearby, German startup FluxionSystem is proving AI doesn’t require replacing entire factories. Its Model Guided Scaffolding technology upgrades existing industrial machines with AI-driven control systems, allowing manufacturers to improve productivity without expensive new equipment. Early deployments have already delivered productivity gains of more than 12 percent.

AI powers the next generation of cyber resilience

One of the busiest stops on the exhibition floor is NinjaOne, where visitors can see how AI is transforming enterprise IT while also experiencing the company’s partnership with Audi Revolut F1 Team. Featuring racing simulators, competitions and networking spaces, the experience highlights the shared commitment of both organisations to performance, reliability and split-second decision-making in fast-paced environments.

Attendees can also explore NinjaOne’s Unified IT Operations Platform, which uses AI-powered vulnerability management and autonomous patching to help organisations identify, prioritise and remediate cyber risks across thousands of endpoints.

“NinjaOne unifies IT operations and automates the hardest parts of the job, so IT teams can work more effectively and give every employee the best possible technology experience,” said Andre Schindler, General Manager EMEA, NinjaOne.

As AI becomes increasingly integrated into digital services, proving who or what is interacting online is becoming just as important. Latvia’s Regula Forensics is demonstrating its AI-powered identity verification platform, enabling organisations to verify users, detect fraudulent documents and strengthen trust across digital onboarding and authentication.

“Most identity systems were built on a simple assumption: there is a human on the other side of the screen,” said Nikita Dunets, Vice President of Digital Identity Verification at Regula. “That assumption is changing. Businesses increasingly need to understand who or what is behind every digital interaction, whether the action is authorised, and whether it can be trusted.”

Powering Europe’s AI economy

AI is only as powerful as the data behind it. Alteryx is showcasing Alteryx One, a unified platform that prepares, automates and governs enterprise data, helping organisations transform vast amounts of information into trusted insights while laying the foundations for AI at scale.

“The organisations that create the greatest value will be those that can prove where data came from, how it changed, which rules were applied, and whether outputs can be tested and audited,” highlighted Johanne Reydel, South and Central Europe Marketing Director, Alteryx.

Whether analysing billions of data points, modernising decades-old industrial equipment, inspecting renewable energy infrastructure or protecting digital identities, the technologies on display share one common theme: AI is becoming embedded across every sector of the economy.

Running until 1 July, GITEX AI EUROPE will continue bringing together governments, global technology companies, startups, investors and researchers to explore how Europe can strengthen innovation, digital sovereignty and industrial competitiveness while accelerating responsible AI adoption.
