The judging panel considered how the solutions addressed everyday issues that were relevant in the UAE and the wider Middle East-North Africa (MENA) region. The Economic Times The support focus ensures that it is not just about relocation but also about regional relevance and scalability.
Information to be absorbed by the start-up ecosystem:
- Indian entrepreneurs would be able to go global much easier with a strong backing from the UAE.
- With the presence of high-growth firms from other places, the UAE would be an attractive hub for such companies and not only a local player anymore.
- The mutual collaboration may lead to the rise of more such bilateral accelerator models and the strengthening of cross-border innovation relations.
In short: The program is a win-win of tech diplomacy. Indian start-ups get real support for their global market entry with the UAE and other countries. The UAE plays a more vital role as a bridge for innovation and entrepreneurship. The follow-up task will be to watch the performance of those five start-ups, how many manage to grow, and whether the initiative is extended to further participants and sectors.
