UAE wins Arab-world crown at 2025 Robotics Olympiad in Jordan

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) were the most successful team at the 2025 Robot Football Olympics Jordan, and thus, they became the best Arab nation to win the gold. The win was given to The Schools of Research Science team, which was equally brilliant in both junior and senior categories.
In total, 104 teams from 12 countries (UAE, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Algeria, Qatar, Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, and Bahrain) participated in the competition. The Schools of Research Science team surpassed all the others – even the ones from the host country – and thus, they were able to take the championship’s first place.
The team consists of Mahra Nasser Al Ali, Sheikha Hamdan bin Kadfour Al Meheri, Omar Mohammed Qasem, Nidal Hani Abdullah, Osama Amro Al Zabda, Aisha Fouad Al Hashemi, Sheikha Faisal Al Tamimi, Mohammed Hamdan Khan, Mohammed Adnan Karima, Azlan Khan, Youssef Maken, and Omar Muayad. Their coach is Abdullah Harb.
This accomplishment is the second consecutive year the team has made it to the top in the Arab world’s robotics championship. Such unceasing victories emphasize the students’ skills as well as the students’ training environment quality.
The Robot Football Olympics is a robot football tournament to be followed by creative robotics projects from countries all over the world. This competition is more than just playing a game.
